I wanted to create a fanlisting for the Forsaken because, well... they're such great villains! Asmodean is my favourite book character of all time -- and thirteen evil chanellers are even better than one. :P The website name Shadow Rising is taken from the title of the fourth book, because it's very fitting.
As for technical details... this site was created on the 15th of May, 2004 using the nifty tools below and the power of procrastination. Feel free to sign the guestbook or email me if you have any further questions. I also lurk around livejournal. :)
- Enthusiast 3 for the fanlisting script, which makes managing this so much more convenient.
- Paint Shop Pro 9 was used to design the layout and codes.
- The HTML was manually written in Araneae.
- The background image was scanned and edited from the new book covers, and the Forsaken art from either TK Logbook or Dabel Brothers.
- And of course, Robert Jordan for writing the amazing The Wheel of Time series!
